Jessica Chastain “Visual Beauty”

The Help

Directed by Tate Taylor
Cast Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer,
Bryce Dallas Howard, Jessica Chastain,
Sissy Spacek, Mary Steenburgen

Based on the novel written by Kathryn Stockett,
written & directed for the screen by Tate Taylor.

The Help tells the story of Eugenia “Skeeter”
Phelan & her relationship with two maids
in Civil Rights America in the early 1960s.
Skeeter played superbly well by the “Easy A”
actress Emma Stone takes it upon herself to
document the treatment of the Maids by their
rich white employers in the south, Mississipi.

Aibileen played by Viola Davis is the first of
the maids to open up to Skeeter, and she is
followed by Minni Jackson played by
Octavia Spencer, both maids help Skeeter
give a detailed account of life as a maid
fighting the stench of racism in 60s America.

Have you ever gone into watching a movie
and thought to yourself… umm I don’t think
this will be my type of movie & after the credits
at the end rise it’s like WOW that was so good.
Well The Help was one of them experiences.

The Help is a movie not to be missed, it’s
a fresh take on that era and its captured
perfectly by director Tate Taylor and his
wonderful Award Winning cast.
