James Ellroy’s writing credits include
the superb L.A Confidential & putting
it mildly Rampart is no Confidential it’s an
average drama with a good (but not his best)
performance from Woody Harrelson.
OVERALL
Apart from the solid acting from a very
good cast, Rampage failed on so many
levels, from the weak direction to the run
of the mill story, I just didn’t feel anything
for the characters in the movie and the last
quarter of the film fizzled out without really
giving the viewer any conclusion, disappointing!
